The company currently manages a wide array of disciplines including sales, marketing, service delivery and contract management through a combination of in-house transport fleet and waste handling division. Enviroquip, operates a sizeable waste equipment rental fleet being supported by integral workshop facilities equipped for a wide range of welding and fabrication, refurbishment and repair services, including waste compaction machinery manufacture from our facility based at Cardiff.

The role:

Due to considerable growth we are looking to recruit an additional Customer Services/Operations Coordinator to work within our Operations department to primarily arrange the hazardous waste collections and disposals from our customer site.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, this position is working as part of a team. The role is varied and preferably suited for an individual who has strong administration, negotiating and customer service skills.


Customer support
•Handling and administering hazardous waste collection request.
•Preparing of documentation, consignment notes for waste collections
•Preparing and packing hazardous waste consignments on customer sites
•Maintaining regular market reviews for recyclable commodities
•Occasional site liaison visits e.g. to oversee a collection / assist sales
•Maintenance and control of licences and permits
•Updating & inputting information into the waste management database system
•Sourcing outlets and negotiating rates for new waste materials
•Processing waste samples, data sheets and specifications
•Assessment of sampling collected or sent for analysis
•Holiday and overflow support
•Checking and processing of supplier invoices and handling any invoice queries.
•Building relationships with disposal sites
•Producing and managing report

Engineering support
•Provide holiday cover for engineering callout request

Skills and experience:
•Educated to degree level preferred, however at least A level in Chemistry is essential
•DGSA would be a distinct advantage but not essential
•Knowledge of the waste industry would be preferred but not essential
•Excellent written and spoken communication skills with demonstrable customer services experience.
•Research experience would be preferred in order to source outlets for materials
•Commercially aware with the ability to negotiate successfully at all levels
•Able to work as a successful team player within a fast-moving environment.
•Strong time management
•Strong administration experience complying to ISO 9001 standards
•IT skills – Microsoft office suite in particular Excel
•Ability to work to tight deadlines
•Ability to ‘juggle’ more than one task at any one time
