Job Summary: Good decisions about managing the environment are made with good evidence behind them. Our team delivers that evidence through our national and international reporting. The successful applicant will be working to ensure that we meet our statutory obligations whilst improving the quality of our evidence and ensuring it gets to the places where it can make a difference. If you are successful in your application you could be working across different environmental themes – including water, waste, biodiversity and industry. You will contribute to NRW’s flagship State of Natural Resources Report which drives the sustainable management of natural resources in Wales.

Job Purpose: To lead on the delivery of NRW’s statutory and agreed non-statutory international, UK and Welsh reporting obligations to defined timetables. You will lead on programmes of complex technical analysis, managing input from colleagues across Evidence, Policy & Permitting and Operations, and working collaboratively with government, agency and partner body representatives at the Wales and UK levels
