Recycle Link Wales' Next Event - February 28th 2020

Recycle Link Wales are delighted to be teaming up again with MyWasteApp again host our next FREE network morning event at TATA Academy, Port Talbot on Friday 28th February.

A year on since our launch, this will be the fourth event of its kind designed specifically for all those connected to the waste industry in Wales.  We invite all those with an interest to come to our morning event to enjoy free networking with other industry professionals and hear from a panel of sector specialists.

Creating a Circualr Economy

The Welsh Government are consulting on Circular Economy Strategy proposals that we:

  • move towards zero waste by 2050;
  • scrutinise how we use resources;
  • encourage the reuse, repair and remanufacture products and materials; and
  • maximise the economic and social opportunities of a more circular economy.

Hear from Andy Rees OBE, Welsh Government's Head of Waste Strategy, and industry representatives on how Wales proposes to make the changes required to develop a circular economy. He would also like to hear your views and ideas on how, together, we reach the ultimate goal of generating zero waste.

The event invites anyone with an interest in waste, from local authorities and other regulatory bodies, waste industry specialists and waste facility operators, waste producing companies such as industrial or construction industry operators through to those who support the waste industry including consultants, waste brokers and carriers. Those wishing to enhance their CPD are very welcome.

Following the event, TATA Steel have offered to host a site bus tours. Spaces for this tour are limited and you can book your space as part of the event registration process.
